Praying the Psalms

One Psalm a week, one prayer a day.

A small wooden harp resting on an open Bible, lit by the warm light of a candle

On the coverThe harp is the instrument of the Psalms: many of them were born as songs, and David played the harp before he was king. The open Bible beneath it is what we'll do here: pray with words that are already written. The candle is the small moment of each day, a single light. And no one in the picture: the prayer is yours.

Before going straight into the Psalms, 4 short days to get the heart ready: praying in the morning, praying without the right words, praying with Scripture itself, and remembering that God is near to everyone who comes to him for real.

Starting the following Monday (October 5), a new Psalm every week: opened, explained and prayed, a little piece each day.
